REV. BRANDON WINSTEAD, PH.D

DIRECTOR

Brandon is passionate about his alma mater, TNU, and absolutely loves youth ministry. He has spent over fifteen years ministering alongside young people in urban and suburban ministries around the United States and has helped diverse youth follow Jesus in dynamic and creative ways. He is an author of one book and has published numerous articles on topics in African American religious history and youth ministry. He has also taught classes, given seminars, and led workshops for Nazarene Theological Seminary, St. Paul School of Theology, MidAmerica Nazarene University, Asbury Seminary, the National Youth Workers’ Convention, Youthfront, youTheology, Youth Ministry Academy, and many churches across the country. When he isn’t ministering to young folks or reflecting on the glories of his Florida heritage, he loves spending time with his awesome family, skateboarding, sunshine, days above 85 degrees and sweating while watching FSU football games (Go Noles!) in November.

Craig Moody I was born before the computer chip took hold and is now checking my spelling. I am a father of two, husband of one and a hater of none. I see each and everyday as an opportunity to live life to the fullest, or at least try. I am a hopeless romantic that believes in hope. I choose to see the good in all people and try to get people to see the good in themselves. I play tennis, I play guitar, and I play the television way too much.

Blaine Thomas My name is Blaine Thomas and I am currently enrolled at the Florida State University, as I will be graduating in May with my Bachelors of Arts with a Religion Major. In August I will be attending Duke Divinity School, in efforts to receive my Master of Divinity. I am in the process of becoming ordained in the Methodist Church, in hopes to become a pastor or chaplain, after I graduate from Duke. I enjoy playing all sports, working with youth, and doing Florida stuff! I will be returning to Six8 this year, after serving as an intern last summer. My hopes for Six8 and being in Nashville this summer is to be a leader for students as we dive into rich conversation, have a good time getting to know students and mentors, and attempt to avoid Nashville’s hospitals (which didn’t work out so well last year!) ☺
